Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Paint/remove field markings for events.
  • Set up/tear down for game days and stadium rentals.
  • Maintain stadium grounds including cleaning and repairs.
  • Assist with event setups and moving equipment.

Job description

Event and field preparation happens both during overnights, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Your hours and days scheduled will vary based on business needs. We are looking for staff who can work evenings, overnights and weekends between 8-40 hours a week from September to November.

As a member of the Stadium Operations team, you will be a part of delivering an amazing Fan Experience by readying event areas, the field, and the stadium for the next series of events, meetings, and/or games.

This role requires strong, well-organized individuals to set up, stage and tear down items for events. Our goal is to create an amazing fan experience for any event held at Princess Auto Stadium.

What you will do:

  • Paint/remove the field markings (lines & logos) for football and soccer
  • Field set up/tear down for game days (football & soccer)
  • Set up/Takedown Soccer nets, goal posts, benches, advertising boards, seats & shelters
  • Stadium maintenance: Groundskeeping, carpet cleaning & pressure washing
  • Event setup of rooms & tailgate for stadium rentals and game days
  • Moving tables, chairs, tents, stage, podiums, bike rack etc
  • Small repairs and installations
  • Set up/takedown Signage, furniture, etc
  • Snow Removal: with plow and/or shovel

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to work a highly variable schedule including evenings, overnight, weekends and some holidays based on event schedules
  • Be adaptable to changing shifts and work overtime when required
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds and work on your feet for an extended period
  • Must be able to climb ladders, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously while working in all types of weather conditions
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
  • High Attention to detail
