Job Description

The St. James Hotel is offering summer jobs! We are making offers now. Work 20-40 hours per week during the summer, with options for part-time or full-time schedules, including evenings and weekends. You may also work part-time (up to 20 hours) in May, September, and October, subject to availability.

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Seasonal Laundry Attendant to join our team. Responsibilities include:

1. Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering linens.
2. Maintaining cleanliness of laundry machinery and area.
3. Ensuring adequate stock levels of linens throughout the property.
4. Addressing guest service issues promptly and courteously.
5. Providing laundry services for guests and staff as needed.
6. Reporting maintenance concerns and ensuring timely repairs.

Qualifications

One to three months of related experience or training preferred. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
