Position: Senior Water Resources Engineer

Your work environment at EXP

EXP’s Water Resources Group is seeking a Hydraulic Modeler to support surface water projects across the GTA, including water resources, project design, and construction services.

The successful candidate will join a team supporting land development, transit drainage, I&I studies, and floodplain mapping projects, preferably with GTA project experience.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Provide technical input for modeling project outputs, including hydraulic model building and calibration, and optimization of design solutions.
• Produce reports and technical documents.
• Engage in progress reporting and client communication.

What your experience looks like

• Experience with surface water modeling software such as PCSWMM, OTT-HYMO, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, etc.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Assist in proposal preparation.
• Support client liaison with government departments, local authorities, water and utility companies, and public bodies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Training and experience with modeling software applications.
