WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Provide subject matter expertise to RBC application teams

  • Leverage enterprise monitoring capabilities

  • Onboard clients to monitoring and event management systems

  • Provide reactive and proactive alarms to support teams

  • Reduce incidents through proactive measures

  • Support a self-serve customer experience

  • Implement automated and intuitive systems

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and system documentation.

  • Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify new opportunities for improvement and innovation.

  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues for users, providing guidance and training as needed.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux/Unix Operating systems would be a strong asset.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages and tools, including Python, GitHub, SQL, JavaScript, and web-related technologies such as HTML and CSS.
