Overview:

We seek a highly skilled AI Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves driving operational efficiency within our support team and tools. As a Senior Technical Staff AI System Engineer, you will architect, develop, and optimize advanced AI systems across various domains, leading initiatives to design, implement, and deploy scalable AI solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in implementing AI-driven solutions to improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AI strategies to enhance operational efficiency across engineering teams
• Lead end-to-end machine learning system design, including model development, evaluation, and deployment
• Integrate AI solutions into existing customer support tools, enterprise software, and infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI integration and automation opportunities
• Design, build, and deploy AI models and algorithms to address complex business problems
• Monitor and evaluate AI system performance, making adjustments for accuracy and effectiveness
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on AI projects
• Stay updated with the latest AI advancements and industry trends
• Provide technical training on AI/ML technologies
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all AI initiatives

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on AI systems development and implementation experience
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C, C++
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical modeling
• Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Experience with classical ML techniques and time series analysis
• Experience with large language models, agentic frameworks, prompt engineering
• Familiarity with Docker, GitHub
• Strong grasp of product lifecycle management and production code release processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with RTL, Verilog, ASIC development lifecycle
• Experience in high-tech, fast-paced environments
• Optimize open-source AI frameworks for high-performance hardware
• Design and validate new AI algorithms for enterprise applications
• Understanding of DevOps practices for AI deployment and monitoring
• Benchmarking AI/ML designs

Pay Range: The annual base salary ranges from $107,000 to $226,000, depending on factors such as location, skills, and experience. Our total compensation includes base pay, RSUs, quarterly bonuses, health benefits, retirement plans, and an industry-leading IESPP program.
