Responsibilities

• Drive large-scale, cross-functional programs spanning multiple development teams from inception to delivery – defining roadmaps, user stories, and technical solutions for agentic shopping, hyperlocalization, and catalog vending initiatives.
• Interact with project sponsors, engineering leaders, Principal Engineers, and partner teams across VP-level organizations to define and deliver complex programs.
• Clearly communicate roadmap, plans, and project status to senior management and key technical and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with software development teams on delivering high-quality solutions, providing guidance on architecture, design, and priorities.
• Lead AI adoption – driving how the team leverages generative AI and agentic technologies in both product and process.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; provide escalation management; balance business needs versus technical constraints.
• Evangelize the team's capabilities across Amazon, build relationships, and identify existing technologies that can accelerate delivery.

Overview

Amazon Selection and Catalog Systems (ASCS) builds and operates the systems behind the world's largest e-commerce product catalog, enabling customers to find, discover, and buy anything they want. The Offers Platform team serves product and offering data containing billions of records — the authority for product information, availability, and price — responding to hundreds of billions of requests per day at single‑digit millisecond latency.

Key Pillars

• Offer Projections and Insights – Diagnostic, analytics, and Tier‑1 aggregation services that power offer intelligence, detail page widgets (buybox, twister, price ranges), and emerging AI‑powered shopping experiences.
• Catalog Vending – Website‑facing and end‑customer interfaces and precompute systems that project catalog data to hundreds of downstream consumers, powering the Amazon shopping experience.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.
• Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Benefits

The base salary range for this position is CAD 128,100.00 – 214,000.00 annually. Compensation may include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve well‑being.
