Sr Technical Delivery Lead (Data Management)

Description:

Permanent Full Time

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Technical Delivery Manager to join our Data team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both cloud and on-premises solutions, with a preferred focus on data technology. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing complex technical delivery and delivering high-quality products that meet our business objectives.

What you will do:

  1. Lead the delivery from inception to completion.
  2. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define delivery requirements and deliverables.
  3. Work with project and program managers to develop and maintain detailed delivery plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  4. Oversee the implementation of cloud and on-premises solutions, ensuring they meet technical and business requirements.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact delivery.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data technology.
  7. Communicate delivery status, progress, and challenges to senior management and other stakeholders.
  8. Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and practices within the team.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical delivery management, with a focus on cloud and on-premises solutions.
  • Strong background in data technology, including data architecture, data integration, and data analytics.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale technical delivery and delivering high-quality products.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and delivery management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
  • Reliability Status security clearance — this is a personnel security status required before gaining access to Protected B information, assets, or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada.

Salary: The base salary for this position ranges from $80,700.00 to $141,400.00 annually. This is the base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components such as bonuses or commissions. If selected for the next stage, your recruiter will discuss additional details of our total rewards package.
