Our client is looking for a Sr. Technical Analyst to support an ERP upgrade with data migration and mapping in the Municipal sector.

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Technical Analysts with strong data mapping skills to support a critical ERP upgrade project involving Oracle Financials. This role will involve analyzing legacy and target data structures, developing detailed data mappings, and working closely with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate and seamless data transitions.

Must Have's:

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst/ Data Analyst
• Proven experience with data mapping and transformation in an ERP upgrade or implementation
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials or similar enterprise financial systems.
• Experience working on large-scale data migration or system upgrade projects is an asset
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools (i.e. SSIS)
• Public sector or municipal experience is an asset
• Experience in data mapping and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of financial data structures, integration points, and reporting needs
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data structures and business requirements across legacy and new ERP systems.
• Create and validate data mapping documents to support data migration activities.
• Collaborate with data migration, functional, and technical teams to define transformation rules.
• Identify data quality issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Support testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Document data lineage and maintain mapping specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
