The Experience:

As a Data Warehouse Security Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining security compliances across cloud data warehousing tools like Snowflake and BigQuery.

This position will help drive improvements in security, maintainability, and scalability of our application’s data security as well as Role Based Access Control (RBAC) management within our Enterprise Architecture.

Who are you…

You are a Data Warehouse Security Analyst -

  1. Plan, implement and maintain data security measures
  2. Identify risk and vulnerabilities in data warehousing tools to prevent cyber attacks
  3. Guard sensitive data and determine how best to protect that data from unauthorized entities
  4. Understand data encryption and methods to apply it
  5. Handle PII data and apply security measures around it
  6. Research attempted breaches of data security and rectify security weaknesses
  7. Manage, maintain, and improvise RBAC within data warehouse tools
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data protection requirements
  9. Evaluate and promote processes, tools, and technologies that enhance data warehouse security
  10. Develop and maintain design and solution documentation

  2. Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams & security teams
  2. Mentor and coach junior developer resources

  2. Stay updated with the latest technological advancements
  3. Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies related to data warehouse security

What you’ll need…(Required)

  1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years IT professional experience
  3. 3+ years experience in Data Security
  4. Good knowledge in data modeling and database design
  5. Experience with managing database or data warehouse security
  6. Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  7. Experience working with cloud environments (e.g.- GCP, AWS)
  8. Experience with automation via any scripting such as Bash or Python.
  9. Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills

What you’ll need…(Preferred):

  1. Experience working with cloud data warehousing (e.g.- Snowflake, BigQuery)
  2. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g.- Docker, Kubernetes).
  3. Project management
