A career as a Senior Special Loans Officer in Optimum at National Bank involves acting as a foreclosure and property management specialist. This role allows you to positively impact the organization through your expertise in managing delinquent mortgage accounts and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Your job
  • Ensure accurate and timely payments for condo arrears, delinquent taxes, and property insurance to protect the bank’s security interest.
  • Manage and administer high-risk and watch accounts, including reporting and system updates.
  • Coordinate for delinquent accounts referred to solicitors and manage payments/payouts on defaulted mortgages.
  • Prepare and review month-end and exception reports per procedures and timelines.
  • Support the legal foreclosure process by liaising with attorneys and third parties, and manage expenditure recovery.
  • Identify operational improvements to enhance default management efficiency.
