Autodesk's Developer ecosystem team is seeking a hands-on, experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead a team of talented and driven developers responsible for building and modernizing Autodesk Platform Services to reach its true potential as the leading Design and Make platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering career growth and handling performance management.
• Promote continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
• Attract, hire, and develop top software development talent.
• Provide technical leadership on methods, tools, techniques, standards, and procedures for high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in technical and architectural discussions and decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and technology evaluations.
• Plan, execute, and ensure the success of technical projects.
• Define development activities, deliverables, and timelines to meet business objectives and align with technical and product goals.
• Collaborate with other teams for requirements and develop a cohesive technical strategy for seamless service and system integration.
• Estimate task complexity, resource needs, and timelines to ensure timely delivery while balancing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies (AWS and Azure).
• 5+ years experience developing Windows-based applications with substantial user base (.Net, COM, MFC, etc.).
• Recent hands-on experience with one or more languages – C#, C++.
• Experience consuming, designing, and implementing REST APIs.
• Experience working with remote teams and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Good self-management skills and ability to track and prioritize multiple tasks coming in simultaneously.
• Experience modernizing legacy cloud services.
