Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Senior Software Developer to build and support enterprise-grade supply chain software in a cloud-ready, 24/7 environment. You will work with Java/J2EE, Spring, REST/SOAP APIs, and open-source tools, across Windows and Linux platforms, contributing to scalable, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing and delivering enterprise software products.
• Strong proficiency in Java-centric development, including Java/J2EE, Spring Web Services, SOAP/REST APIs, GWT/GXT, AJAX, JSON, and JAXB serialization.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, and OO design principles.
• Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, GitLab, Maven, and Selenium.
• Experience with CI, automated testing, performance testing, and QA processes.
• Understanding of AI concepts and applying AI-driven approaches.
• Strong coding, analytical, and problem-solving skills; scalable, high-performance software.
• Self-motivated and collaborative; cross-team effectiveness.
• Experience in Windows and Linux environments and full SDLC.

What you need to succeed:

Strong proficiency in Java-centric development, including Java/J2EE, Spring Web Services, SOAP/REST APIs, GWT/GXT, AJAX, JSON, and JAXB serialization.

Experience working with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, and a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and modeling techniques.

Familiarity with modern development tools and open-source technologies, including Apache Tomcat, GitLab, Maven, and Selenium.

Experience with software development best practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, performance testing, and quality assurance processes.

Understanding of AI concepts and the ability to apply AI-driven approaches to solve development challenges.

Salary Range: $98,080.00 - $147,120.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
