Job summary

A leading IT consultancy is looking for a Senior SAP PP Business Process Lead in Edmonton, Canada. This role involves acting as a liaison between operations and system integrators, driving training and integration testing, and ensuring business processes are aligned with best practices in SAP. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of SAP PP processes and experience with S4 Hana. This position requires reliability clearance.

Qualifications

  • Reliability clearance and eligible for Controlled Goods clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PP business processes, including production planning and scheduling.
  • Experience with SAP integration with modules like MM, SD, PM, and WM.

Job description

Our valued client is looking for a Sr. SAP PP Business Process Lead to support the current ERP Business Systems (SAP ECC 6 EHP8) and its transition to S / 4 Hana

Tasks include :

  • Liaison between operations groups to ensure that their needs are communicate to system integrator and that these requirements are configured correctly in S4
  • Drive the day to day (training, system integration testing, change management, etc.) with BAs, FAs, in line with Business Processes & planning & execution
  • Coordinate new S4 PP functionality in is reviewed to understand impact on PP processes.
  • Coordinate that other process stream changed do not negatively affect PP. Identify where process changes would need to occur to support these changes.
  • Identify gaps in the PP process that need closed.
  • Identify, analyze best practices for implementation across the board with focus on PP
  • Project Phase 1 – Keeping the PP landscape while analyzing possible improvements in follow on phases
  • Report to Business Process Owner Lead, Project Sponsor, or Project Manager
  • Accountable for business processes relevant to his line of business
  • Ensure business processes are strategically aligned with best practices
  • Attend all workshops relevant for his line of business
  • Ensure that the target solution meets operational objectives
  • Plan and review change management activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and Change Management team
  • Approve the gaps identified in the backlog for his line of business
  • Approve the solution (data included) and participates in solution-related change control processes during the implementation phase

Must have :

  • Reliability clearance and eligible for Controlled Goods clearance
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PP business processes , including production planning, scheduling, material management, quality control, and integration with other SAP modules
  • Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
  • Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules like MM, SD, PM, and WM
  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA & Fiori user platform
  • Ability to influence business partners and 3rd party implementation consultants and manage client relationships
  • Nice to have :

  • SAP certification
  • 7+years’ experience in S / 4 Hana Go-Live implementations
