A leading bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst specializing in SAP Payroll to resolve system issues and recommend solutions. You will support payroll processing, wage configurations, and year-end processing while leading onboarding efforts during acquisitions. This role requires solid SAP expertise and understanding of Canadian payroll legislation.
You will partner with IT and assigned HR and Payroll business line(s) to assess, research, analyze, and document business and systems needs to resolve HR and Payroll systems issues by recommending solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
This position provides primary support for the SAP Payroll module, including payroll processing, wage type configuration, Canadian year-end processing, and support of Payroll Operations.
Responsibilities include supporting SAP configuration, testing, and implementing fixes and enhancements, as well as acting as the Functional HR & Payroll Lead for onboarding and offboarding employees during acquisitions and divestitures.
You will perform duties aligned with a Business Systems Analyst, including incident support, requirements documentation, process mapping, testing, and training. You will also guide less experienced analysts and facilitate meetings.
Key qualifications include a solid understanding of SAP Payroll schema, experience with complex payroll changes, and familiarity with Canadian payroll legislation. Expertise in related SAP modules and at least 5 years in a business or functional analyst role are required.
Preferred skills include knowledge of ABAP, SAP Time Evaluation, SAP ECC 6.0, SAP NWDS, SAP Portal ITS, and integration points with other SAP modules.
