Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Test Lead with 7+ years’ experience in a QA environment, preferably within a leadership capability as well as experience with testing HR Modules of SAP SuccessFactors, stakeholder management and business analysis to place at our client, a Global Agricultural company.
Contract: Long term contract

Job Description:
The QA Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating ALL aspects of testing activities for each project. In that sense, they will lead different groups of people, including project team members and people outside the project in testing activities following a prescribed methodology. Lots of moving systems, people, parts & pieces that need to be pulled into a cohesive testing effort from SIT to UAT and Smoke and Regression testing.
In the role of QA Test Lead, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary project team involving the testing of SAP SuccessFactors. Extensive knowledge of SuccessFactors HR Modules, methods and techniques for Quality Assurance and Testing, and demonstrated skill in their application to solving business problems are essential. Our QA Test Leads work effectively and efficiently, whether working independently, as a team member or as a team leader.
Education/Experience:
- University degree or college diploma relevant to Business, Computer Sciences, Quality Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
- 7+ years in the IT industry with experience as an IT Test Lead for software implementations.
- Experience building strong working relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
- SAP SuccessFactors is a must have. Must have experience writing test scripts into test factors for SAP.
- Heavy hands-on lead experience within a QA environment.
- Project Management/BA experience.
- Smoke and regression testing experience is an asset.
- Experience working with Business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Project Leads, etc.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge in activities related to creating and managing Use Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Testing Execution, Testing Management and Defect Management.
- Hands-on QA testing work along with team lead responsibilities.
- Oversight of business, functional and technical resource efforts around the execution of all testing activities according to the PMO Testing Methodology.
- Train project team and end-users to work within testing systems and methodologies.
- Manage and lead testing efforts and outcomes, including regular status reports representing burn-down, velocity and defect analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-demand environment.
