Sr. QA Analyst to create and execute automation tests for Data / ETL projects using TOSCA for a large insurance client.

Duration : 6 Months (possibility for extension)

Location : Remote

Applications Operations Services & Quality Engineering (AOSQE) is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Data / ETL Testing) with a proven track record of leading testing activities to join the Data Testing Chapter. The successful candidate acts as the Quality Advocate and is responsible to ensure the delivery of quality solutions to our clients through testing.

Must haves :

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with Data and ETL technologies-based projects.
• Experience with Test Automation Tools like Tosca Automation (Level 1 & 2) and Tosca Data Integrity or similar Data Testing automation tools.
• Proficiency in SQL (creating, maintaining, and editing queries).
• Strong knowledge of Python for test automation.
• FI / Insurance industry experience.

Nice to haves :

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Certification in TOSCA and TOSCA Data Integrity (DI) tools.
• Prior experience on Anti Money Laundering projects.
• Experience with data warehouse, enterprise data lake, and big data tools and concepts.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, and concepts of Continuous Integration and delivery, especially continuous testing.

Job Responsibilities :

• Act as a Sr. Quality Engineer in mid to large-sized programs.
• Create and execute test automation scripts using TOSCA.
• Develop test strategy, test planning, execution, and manage end-to-end UAT and BAT testing.
• Focus on Data and ETL technology-based projects.
• Collaborate with the QE team to deliver assigned stories.
• Work within an agile delivery model; tickets assigned via Jira as User Stories.
• Coordinate with QE team members, Business System Analysts, Developers, and Scrum Masters.
• Work with AWS technologies like S3, Glue, Redshift, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Participate in onboarding and knowledge transition sessions, review training materials, and develop understanding.
• Apply automation-first mindset to testing activities.
• Provide detailed defect information and help prioritize defects based on risk.
• Manage defects using qTest and report status/metrics to stakeholders.
