Our client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager with experience leading SAP initiatives and financial regulations and compliance projects for our banking client.

Role is remote (Alberta candidates are preferred)

Must Haves:

  • 6+ years experience as a Project Manager leading information technology projects
  • 3+ years experience managing SAP initiatives
  • 3+ years experience leading financial regulations and compliance projects

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Technology Enablement, Business, and third-party stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Collaborates to set vision and roadmaps program strategy; articulates and sets standards for programs, with emphasis on quality management.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Proactively identify and address risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project milestones.
  • Deliver regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, risks, and financial status.
  • Strong interpersonal skills beyond job requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and thrive in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams in a variety of project delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools and techniques.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
