Position: Sr. Project Manager to lead infrastructure initiatives for a major insurance client
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Hybrid Toronto/Montreal (2 days on site)
Description:
Responsible for leading, planning and delivering all aspects of small (squads) to large (tribe), highly complex and strategic projects and program across multiple departments. PM from one to many projects in parallel based on complexity of each. Defines what is targeted, included and excluded scope, high-level budget envelope, high-level target in time, costs estimates and costs management. Change Management and associated priority. Works with Tribe PO, Architects and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment. Leads all IT project management activities (staffing needs, budget, risk, audit requests, performance, security, PMO requirements, etc.).
Must Haves:
- 8+ years as an IT Project Manager with experience in Agile project delivery
- 3+ years experience leading CCAS (call/contact center) Infrastructure projects

- Develop and maintain integrated project plans by identifying deliverables and dependencies, estimating associated duration and costs, and participating in the assignment of human resources to sub-activities.
- Provide timely advice to experts and sponsors throughout the project to achieve and meet the objectives. Ensure that the investment in the project provides the best deliverables/products or optimal value to the client/sponsor.
- Build lead and coordinate, in direct and/or indirect supervision mode, the activities of a multidisciplinary team including Project Managers (PMs) and Project Control Officers (PCOs).
- Write reports on the entire project (progress, problems, costs, closing, etc.) while respecting established performance indicators. Lead project risk management. Effectively manage project delivery.
- Maintain dashboards on a periodic and progressive basis throughout the program/projects.
- Anticipate problems and difficult situations and take the necessary steps to resolve them.
- Ensure proactive and effective communication at all levels of the project.
- Ensure that the right communication channels are in place between project collaborators.
