Job Description
What will you do?
- Organize, facilitate, and lead the agile program processes and their execution, escalate impediments, manage risks, and drive program-level continuous improvement.
- Facilitate program events such as Program backlog refinement, Product increment planning, Sprint planning, Product Retrospective, and the Scrum of Scrums.
- This role is a hands-on, collaborative, and facilitative position that drives all the Program ceremonies and processes associated with the RBC scaled Agile Management Framework (AMF). It holds overall responsibility for all processes and personnel involved in product deliveries within the Agile Release.
- Provide end-to-end project management, including building and managing detailed schedules, managing financials, resource forecasting, early warning indicators, and proposing solutions.
- Identify and manage dependencies, ensuring dependent work is tracked and delivered to prevent schedule slippage.
- Collect project performance indicators, build status reports, and prepare presentations for Management & VP-level audiences.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have:
- 5+ years of Agile Project Management and/or senior Scrum Master experience, including both waterfall and agile projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile Project Management workflows (milestones, critical paths, backlogs, work schedules, release burndown).
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Project/Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe).
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to Senior Directors, VPs, and higher levels.
- Proven ability to manage projects involving third-party vendors and significant technology components.
- Advanced knowledge of change, issue, and risk management.
