The role leads downstream strategic product management, including portfolio management, marketing strategy execution, launch excellence, and demand forecasting to grow market share. You will collaborate with the Sales team to understand customer needs, drive programs addressing unmet needs, and contribute to the annual marketing and strategic plans while ensuring tools

A Day in the Life Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager or Marketing Manager, the Sr. Product Manager is responsible for the overall downstream strategic product management activities including strategic portfolio management; development and execution of marketing strategies and programs to profitably grow/protect market share; product launch excellence; and demand forecasting.

The incumbent is expected to work collaboratively with Sales team to gain deep understanding of customer needs and to develop programs to address those unmet needs. The role will require you to be onsite at Brampton, Ontario 3 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Formulates and reviews corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line.
  • Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience.
  • Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.
  • Develops production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunity, working closely with product development for a specific product, brand, or product area over its entire life cycle.
  • Works with other functions to finalize product specifications.
  • Provides advertising with core brand equity.
  • Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.
  • Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
  • Responsible for the annual marketing plan and strategic plan development
  • New Product launch excellence.
  • Develops deep clinical and therapy knowledge.
  • Performs Voice of Customers (VoCs)/Ad boards.
  • Active participation and collaboration with Sales team in customer engagement.
  • Responsible for creating and updating marketing collaterals.
  • Serves as contracts, tenders and RFP activities marketing representative.
  • Monitors competitive products and activities including pricing cross-reference information.
  • Responsible to work with RA partners on regulatory submission prioritization and tracking.
  • Timely planning, coordination of the development of all essential tools to ensure the Sales team is welk supported for success.
  • Supports field activities such as product upgrades, evaluations and conversions.
  • Responsible for key conferences, clinical education and customer events support.
  • Active participation in the IBP process to strive to continuously improve on demand forecast.
SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM

Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects - from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Innovation and Complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult, and may require understanding of multiple issues, job areas or specialties . Makes improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of the job area. Analysis provided is in-depth in nature and often provides recommendations on process improvements.

Communication and Influence: Communicates with senior internal and external customers and vendors. Exchange information of facts, statuses, ideas and issues to achieve objective, and influence decision-making.

Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area. May manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work product .

Required Knowledge and Experience

Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Salary Range

$88,768 - $110,960
