Job summary

eBay, including its Depop platform, is seeking an experienced customer-centric Sr. Product Manager to build and drive product capabilities that improve buyer trust across Depop.

You will shape the product roadmap and collaborate with engineering, design, data science, research, and marketing to deliver high-quality experiences for a global audience. You'll own end-to-end product lifecycle, align strategy with top-level goals, write clear PRDs, and measure impact with defined success metrics,

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably for eCommerce products with a large and global user base (experience with Trust-related products a plus).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities; adept at interpreting metrics and diagnosing root causes.
  • Excellent product sense and UX instincts; translate research and insights into simple, high-quality experiences for diverse global users.
  • Strong collaboration with engineering, design, marketing and business teams; exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Self-motivated with ability to flex and innovate quickly.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in product management to drive innovation and efficiency.

eBay is looking for an experienced customer centric Sr. Product Manager to help build, shape, and drive product capabilities to improve buyer trust on the Depop platform.

What you will accomplish:
  • Drive the full product lifecycle for multiple features centered around improving buyer trust end to end on Depop, from initial discovery and opportunity sizing to launch, iteration, and post-launch analysis.

  • Develop a clear product strategy that aligns with eBay’s and Depop’s top-level goals. This requires blending deep customer empathy with an understanding of market trends, business goals, and competitive insights.

  • Own and deliver a challenging product roadmap on time, demonstrating a strong bias for action and high-quality outcomes. You will write clear, detailed requirements (PRDs) that prioritize hypotheses for testing and iteration

  • Lead and inspire confidence among a wide range of partners, including engineering, design, data science, research, and marketing.

  • Define key success metrics, leverage data and analytics to quantify customer problems, size opportunities, and ultimately measure the impact of your work on organizational goals.

  • Cultivate a knowledge of the technical architecture and backend systems for your product area to effectively partner with engineering, unblock development, and influence technical decisions

What you will bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably for eCommerce products with a large and global user base (experience with Trust-related products a plus).

  • Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical abilities. Adept at interpreting metrics, diagnosing root causes, and uncovering opportunities for growth.

  • Excellent product sense and UX instincts; able to translate research and insights into simple, high-quality experiences for diverse global users.

  • Self-motivated and directed, with ability to flex and innovate quickly.

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in product management to drive innovation and efficiency.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C$133,200 - C$177,800

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
