Base pay range

CA$95,000.00/yr - CA$169,900.00/yr

About The Opportunity

As part of Dayforce’s Global Pay team, you will collaborate with a team of product managers, engineers, designers, and user researchers to redefine and shape the heart of our product experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. You should be comfortable with conducting user interviews and finding common themes to drive a prioritized roadmap that balances solving current issues and building for the future. In turn you will be responsible for executing on that roadmap with your development team and ensuring that the team understands “the why” behind what they are building. You are imaginative, innovative, technology and data-driven and relentless in driving a feature to completion. You anchor your decisions in strategy and defend them with data. You thrive in an active and agile environment.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Drive forward Global Payroll initiatives with a passion and enthusiasm
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to effectively communicate value of new products and features
  • Serve as the voice of the user in conversations with design, engineers, and business partners
  • Engage with customers and end users on feature vision
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute against both the backlog and roadmap using a data driven approach
  • Ensure the team is focused on building the right feature for the right user at the right time
  • Accountable, self-motivated and work autonomously
  • Research market & industry trends, demand drivers, customer needs and competitive landscape
  • Identify new areas for product feature development by analyzing customer requirements, market trends and competitive gaps
  • Navigating complex problems, evaluating and prioritizing needs and creating actionable recommendations

Skills And Experience We Value

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, ideally with Human Capital Management (HCM) products with a focus on payroll
  • Experience doing user research, competitive analysis, and market needs
  • Superior communication skills verbally and in writing are a must-have, including being comfortable presenting to new and existing customers and executives
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong prioritization, execution, and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional self-awareness and influencing skills
  • Relationship building skills with internal/external stakeholders
  • Experience using JIRA for writing user stories, managing backlog and monitoring work execution
