Position Overview

We’re searching for a Sr. Product Manager to join our commercial lines quoting team to execute on the strategy and roadmap across the multiple front-end experiences within the quoting suite of products. In this role, you’ll be responsible for breaking down and sequencing the roadmap items (“the what”) into workable action items for the team (“the how”), and ensuring alignment across the teams and individual stakeholders (“the why”).

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies for commercial lines quoting
  • Deliver on the vision and roadmap for commercial lines quoting
  • Identify and define problem statements, leading to research that deepens understanding or validates decisions
  • Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to pinpoint customer needs, product gaps, and market opportunities
  • Prioritize and manage the roadmap and release plan for commercial lines quoting
  • Define product requirements and specifications for commercial lines quoting
  • Translate findings into recommendations for feature areas or product enhancements
  • Create business cases to support feature or product enhancements or new product concepts
  • Present business cases to Product leadership to gather feedback and buy-in
  • Ensure feature delivery creates a connected customer journey and a phased approach to value realization
  • Lead cross-functional teams through development cycles
  • Track progress towards milestones, identify roadblocks, and recommend solutions
  • Execute user research and testing to comprehend needs and pain points
  • Utilize various techniques to explore user needs, gaining deeper insight into the customer
  • Communicate user needs cross-functionally to align with feature and product prioritization
  • Synthesize market and user data from multiple sources
  • Create compelling stories and present to Product leadership to validate hypotheses or decisions
  • Communicate feature-area and product values to go-to-market teams
  • Define the product positioning and market differentiation for commercial lines quoting
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop new features, feature areas, or products
  • Collaborate with Software Development, User Experience, Customer Experience, Go-To-Market, Customers, and Product Leadership?

We’re Excited to Learn More About You

Your experience may include:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product management methodologies, industry best practices, and business strategy
  • Highly skilled in data analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insight from complex datasets
  • Experience with writing user stories and defining requirements for both UI and API solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in storytelling and articulating customer value.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively managing priorities and dependencies across teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (MBA a plus)

You may have other skills or credentials, including:

  • A background working for enterprise SaaS organizations
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • API connectivity between internal & external systems
  • Understanding of Postman, Swagger – other API tooling & documentation
