Job description

The senior Process Analyst handles documenting, detailing, and designing various operational processes for business, finance, and Information Technology groups. The process analyst is preferably certified in Six Sigma or business process management.

This is a contract role for six to twelve months. The job involves Key Performance Measures of the organization to deliver their services. The process analyst will analyze key performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Examples include volume of work, wait-time, response-time, hiring-time, and other metrics impacting service delivery.

The process analyst should also have experience with the implementation (change management) of new findings. Ideally, they have experience in implementing identified process changes.

The Senior Process Analyst Responsibilities include:

Business Process Documentation
  • Review existing work processes and organizational structure
  • Map current processes and develop/recommend new processes or changes
  • Analyze business requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
  • Advise on initiatives enabling deployment of high-impact, focused, accountable, and measurable processes
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to understand current processes, pain points, and document workflows
Business Process Design / Engineering
  • Analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, especially with technology enablement
  • Identify processes for re-design
  • Analyze data, identify KPIs for monitoring adoption and benefits realization
  • Prototype solutions, scenarios, and provide trade-offs and recommendations
  • Advise on defining new requirements and applying efficient solutions
  • Estimate preliminary costs of options
  • Assist in developing and integrating process and information models to eliminate redundancies
  • Analyze 'As Is' and 'To Be' processes
  • Identify, recommend, and plan new processes
  • Assist in implementing new processes and modifications to automated processes
  • Use business, workflow, and organizational tools
  • Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Conduct reviews and develop implementation strategies
Change Integration
  • Advise HR and IT groups on discipline requirements
  • Develop training, information sessions, and mentoring on processes
  • Support training on new processes and implementations
  • Monitor change adoption and address issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve questions
