Job summary

OnX Enterprise Solutions is seeking an experienced Data & AI Multicloud Architect to lead pre-sales and delivery across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. You will design end-to-end data/AI platforms, mentor junior staff, and drive client-focused architecture discussions.

You will collaborate with sales to scope engagements, advise on platform choices, and ensure delivery excellence while advancing OnX capabilities and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Data Science or related field.
• 8+ years in data architecture, analytics, or AI/ML consulting with pre-sales and delivery experience.
• Proven multicloud architect delivering data/AI solutions across two of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and account teams to scope, design, and present Data & AI solutions during the pre-sales cycle.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess current-state data/AI maturity and define target architectures across multicloud environments.
• Architect end-to-end multicloud solutions spanning data engineering, data governance, analytics/BI, and AI/ML platforms on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Advise clients on cloud platform selection and workload placement based on cost, performance, and data residency requirements.
• Develop statements of work, level-of-effort estimates, and solution architecture documentation.
• Provide delivery oversight and technical leadership on Data & AI engagements, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and OnX quality standards.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants and engineers within the practice.
• Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, whitepapers, and internal enablement content.

• Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, whitepapers, and internal enablement content
• Support vendor and partner relationships across Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake relevant to the Data & AI ecosystem
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or AI/ML consulting, with demonstrated pre-sales and delivery experience
• Proven experience as a multicloud architect, designing and delivering data/AI solutions across at least two of Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
• Deep expertise in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse/Fabric, AWS Redshift) and AI/ML tooling
• Experience leading technical discovery and solution design for enterprise clients
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security practices across cloud platforms
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
• Relevant certifications across multiple cloud providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud data/AI or architecture certifications) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
