As a Sr. Operator II supporting Cutting Instrument Finishing Department, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment at Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.

  • Operate equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.

  • Complete the batch records and associated documentation

  • Work in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements

  • May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • Work hours: 1st Shift - 4:45am - 2:45pm - Wednesday - Saturday

  • Travel Requirements: None

  • Relocation assistance: None

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Prior Machine Operating experience

  • Able to lift up to 20lbs.

  • Able to collaborate in a team environment

  • Able to work Overtime on Weekends
