The Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operations objectives at the Fulfillment Center. This role oversees all aspects of site operations or functions, including managing a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring to meet performance objectives, and building positive employee relations.

You will drive quality initiatives, process changes, and Lean initiatives to enable your functional area and the Fulfillment Center to meet and exceed business plans. Working closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT) and other Sr. Operations Managers, you will secure resources for projects and share best practices across departments.
As a Sr. Operations Manager, you will drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and Lean initiatives to improve fulfillment center performance. You are responsible for overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience in either Inbound or Outbound operations, setting and clarifying requirements for Operations and Area Managers.
You will measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Managers accountable for departmental outcomes. By sourcing and nurturing ideas from your team, you will roll them into improvement plans, proactively sharing best practices across shifts and the network, and collaborating with support functions to secure resources and support for initiatives.

Location: Tsawwassen First Nation, BC
Pay Range: $116,100 – $193,900 per year (based on experience, skills, and knowledge)
Core Leadership & Operations Expertise: Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years Amazon experience, plus 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution environments. Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques is required. Experience with full staffing lifecycle—interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and termination—is essential.
Strategic Collaboration & Judgment: Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations. You will work closely with support functions (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT) to secure resources and provide support for initiatives. Interest in long-term career development through assignments across multiple Fulfillment Centers is preferred.
