Role Overview

The Lead Network & Security Engineer will be part of a global network security team responsible for enterprise network security. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and supporting network and security technologies to address strategic challenges. Technologies involved include:

• Networking fundamentals related to the OSI model, focusing on security layers and protocols.
• Knowledge of SNMP, Syslog, AAA, IP subnetting, DHCP, NTP, QoS, NetFlow, BGP.
• Experience with Cisco/Arista routers, switches, firewalls, and security features.
• Experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto firewalls.
• VPN setup and management with Prisma Access and Cisco AnyConnect.
• Understanding of Cisco ISE, certificate-based authentication, profiling, posturing.
• Integration of security layers with Cisco networking, voice, and video.
• Wireless technologies including Arista Agni and WIPS.
• Familiarity with ITIL and change management processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a Senior Network & Security Engineer.
• Experience in medium to large enterprise environments.
• Broad experience across multiple network and security disciplines.
• Previous experience in a global team is preferred.
• Ability to develop technical documentation with diagrams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills.
