Sr. Meter Data Management Analyst (1-Year Contract)

Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. Wyse is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.

We are currently seeking a Meter Data Management (MDM) Analyst for a one-year contract to provide coverage during a maternity leave.The MDM Analyst is responsible for key aspects of meter data management, including setup, system installation, and data analysis. This role supports accurate energy measurement, collaborates with teams on meter operations, andmaintains reports and documentation, providing a foundation for growth in meter data management.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
  • System Operations: Support the operation and monitoring of meter data collection and management systems toensure consistent performance.
  • Data Validation: Assist in the acquisition, validation, and basic editing of interval data to maintain accurate andcomplete data records.
  • Load Accuracy Checks: Perform preliminary validation of load profiles and assist in ensuring the accuracy of energyconsumption data.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor meter data management systems and report performance issues to senior teammembers.
  • Customer/Client Support Assistance: Collaborate with Customer Service and Client Success by preparing andsharing interval data and/or investigation results through reports or file transfers as needed.
  • Meter Mapping Support: Help with the registration, commissioning, and auditing of meter installations underguidance.
  • Issue Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing potential issues with meters or installations that may impact billingaccuracy and customer/client relationship
  • Field Operations Support: Work closely with Certified Meter Mechanics/Testers to provide basic support fortechnical issues in field operations.
  • Coordination Efforts: Help liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties on suite meter installations anddata communication tasks.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of work experience, ideally in the sub-metering industry or adjacent segment.
  • University degree or college diploma in engineering, data science, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Submetering Industry, Meter Data Management system, VEE, and Market Rules would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated advanced ability in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
