THE ROLE

Reporting to the Parts & Service Manager, this Millwright will support clients globally by overseeing and executing field installations, conducting inspections, troubleshooting and repairs, and leading preventive maintenance. Your expertise will impact the efficiency and reliability of our clients' operations, ensuring top-tier service worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support to minimize client downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales teams for smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess equipment and systems.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely during machinery installations and repairs.
  • Install, align, disassemble, and relocate industrial machinery per layout plans using hand and power tools.
  • Prepare and submit field service reports and checklists promptly.
  • Complete timesheets and expense reports accurately.
  • Assist in estimating and planning site-specific work.
  • Follow company travel safety guidelines.
  • Inspect machinery for irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components to restore performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating machinery.
  • Oversee or assist in constructing machinery foundations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel 75% of the year
  • Valid passport and unrestricted travel ability
  • Class G or higher driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Experience working on-site at client locations, manufacturing plants, or construction sites
  • Flexibility for emergency breakdowns or schedule changes
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
