Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Transformation to join our team in New Brunswick, NJ.

Purpose: The Senior Manager, Strategy & Transformation, is a critical role within the J&J Innovative Medicine Communications and Public Affairs (IM CPA) organization. Reporting to the Global Head of Strategy & Transformation (S&T), you will build strategies to enhance employee engagement, deliver operational excellence and drive large-scale transformation through high-impact communications. Examples include:

  • Advancing organizational transformation and journey as a world-class CPA function by shaping and delivering organizational communications, a learning & development roadmap, and program design for signature early-in-career and mid-level leadership programs.
  • Delivering operational excellence by leading change management for our CommTech stack.
  • Enhancing employee engagement by leading executive communications for the Global Leader of IM CPA.

You will be responsible for:

  • Craft innovative solutions that will improve organizational and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the overall IM CPA operating rhythm, building an annual calendar and driving channel & program management for organizational communications and learning activities.
  • Lead executive communications for the Global Leader of IM CPA, including but not limited to town hall meetings, business updates, site visits, and visibility on targeted social media platforms.
  • Build and deploy CommTech change management strategy (including trainings) to improve operational consistency and deliver immediate and/or long-term value.
  • Develop early-in-career and mid-level leader communications programs and strategies that support the IM CPA function’s journey to world class, including innovative program design and development of key messages, talk tracks and presentations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and agency partners, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BA required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years in corporate communications (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to translate complex information into clear and effective messaging.
  • Adept at building change management communication plans that move people to action.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with employees across all levels as a trusted advisor.
  • Able to navigate a matrix environment and ambiguous situations.
  • Deeply collaborative and comfortable driving results through influence.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: The anticipated pay range is $120,000 to $207,000 USD.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
