Position Overview

Coral, a Montreal-based health-tech startup, is seeking a versatile and proactive bilingual individual to serve as Senior Manager of Operations for a maternity leave coverage. The role involves ensuring smooth operations across customer support, strategic initiatives, and team building, requiring a hands-on, detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment. Fluency in French and English is required.

Key Responsibilities

The main goal is to optimize resource use while delivering excellent customer service. You will help build Coral’s operational foundation and foster a strong company culture focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing operational solutions (both technical and manual), developing standard operating procedures, and occasionally executing manual customer support processes.

Specific Responsibilities May Include
  • Customer onboarding: Support initial customer onboarding, develop SOPs for manual and automated solutions, create product demos and recorded videos.
  • Customer support: Provide initial support, optimize existing technology and processes, develop resources, manage KPIs, and oversee the support team.
  • Tech/Product collaboration: Define internal tool needs, ensure system compatibility, support product and tech buildouts.
  • Operational efficiency: Streamline processes, coordinate workflows, remove roadblocks, implement procedures, and oversee new system rollouts.
  • Ad hoc project management: Manage cross-departmental projects, track progress, and communicate updates.
  • Performance monitoring: Establish KPIs, analyze data, and implement improvements.
  • Continuous improvement: Promote ongoing process enhancement and stay updated on industry trends.
