Restaurant Brands International is looking for a visionary analytical leader in the role of Senior Manager, Calendar & Guest Analytics, TH, Canada. Core to the Menu Strategy & Intelligence team’s mission is generating data-driven insights from first-party sources to create a robust and proven national annual marketing plan, monitor performance to action opportunities, and support long-term growth through advanced guest behavioural analytics. The Senior Manager is central to this mission, as the leader for all national and test market forecasting, performance reporting, and guest behavioural insights.
Essential Responsibilities
· Lead unit and revenue forecasting for all test and national promotions (incl. the addition or removal of products, discount offers, product and brand positioning, etc.) at a sub-provincial level
· Analyze the performance of test and national marketing programs, using guest- and transaction-level data to attribute performance drivers; turn data into insights, partnering with Category Management, Consumer Insights, Operations, and other business teams to highlight the most relevant and actionable results to build a story of performance, incl. for routine executive-level reporting
· Support prioritization of calendar opportunities by building scenario plans & optimization recommendations from test and national performance learnings; share findings with Senior Leadership and Restaurant Owners.
· Assist long-term Product and Marketings strategy through leadership of the Guest Analytics function, using transaction-level purchase behaviour to identify trends in consumer behaviour and motivation
· Scope and implement new processes, methodologies, and technologies to improve timeliness and accuracy of forecasting and results; automate to add immediacy, and visualize to democratize access to insights; build and maintain a multi-year roadmap that deepen our analytical capability
Required Skills
· Post-secondary degree in Data Science or Analytics, Financial Analysis, or a related field
· 4+ years of experience in data science, financial analytics, or a related field
· Familiarity with cloud-based databases (like Redshift, Snowflake or Databricks), data visualization tools (like Quick Sight, Tableau, SAP Business Objectives) and data science programming languages (Python preferred)
· Excellent conceptual and communication skills to translate technical concepts and results to a variety of non-technical stakeholder groups
· Self-starter; drive to work independently

· Experience in data engineering, ingestion, validation, and governance
