What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining Simplii as Senior Manager Finance Operations and Automation reporting to the Senior Director, Simplii Operations. Your responsibilities include daily reconciliation, accounting, and reporting functions, managing and balancing the Bank’s Ledger accounts including Automated Banking Machines (ABM), Point of Sale (POS), Remote Banking (RB), and 30 other Suspense Accounts for Simplii. You will be hands-on with automation, preparing in-depth queries, designing, writing, and executing queries using Micro Focus UFT One 2021 (Unified Functional Testing), Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber tools, and knowledge of SAS (Statistical Analysis System) Programming or similar programs to facilitate automation activities.

How You'll Succeed

• Data integrity: Manage reconciliation of suspense accounts used by RCS, RPS, and Operational Risk units, resolving outstanding items.
• Testing expertise: Lead investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases, managing end-to-end testing activities, documenting processes, and ensuring traceability.
• Analysis: Oversee daily, monthly, and year-end activities, including review of journal entries and financial results, with proactive communication of variances.
• Leadership skills: Support project implementation as a subject matter expert, guide diverse teams, foster collaboration, and develop innovative solutions.
• Coordination: Identify project obstacles or risks, provide status updates, and ensure deliverables are aligned with timelines.
• Compliance: Ensure SOX controls are effective, follow records management procedures, and escalate issues as needed.
• Automation and Engineering: Maintain existing automation packages, evaluate and implement new automation technologies, and oversee team capacity planning.

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of experience in automation testing, process improvement, and expertise with tools like Microfocus UFT, Selenium, Robot, Quantum, and programming in Java, Python, VBScript. Experience with API testing, Power BI, and SAS is a plus.
• You prioritize clients, communicate effectively, and enjoy analyzing complex data and problems.
