What You’ll Be Doing
As a member of CIBC’s Capital Markets Regulatory Technology team in AML/TM, the Senior Manager, Application Development is responsible for managing multiple development projects, development groups, and application support functions for major lines of business. The role applies professional knowledge to oversee the development, testing, and implementation of Transaction Monitoring systems, directing, motivating, and developing staff to maximize their individual contributions and function effectively as a team. The Senior Manager leads a team, manages resource requirements and allocations, monitors and improves quality, and ensures 'best practice' development techniques. Additionally, the role works with business groups in developing, testing, and implementing application programs that help monitor Anti-Money Laundering / Transaction Monitoring activities.
