We are embarking on an exciting journey to bring value to Canadians, across our enterprise. We are looking for an experienced Agency Ops/Project Management whiz, leading special projects. The position will be the day-to-day lead to implement high profile, enterprise campaigns and projects, mainly through our in-store and owned channels, from conception to delivery. The chosen candidate will integrate internal and external partners and manage the critical path of these initiatives. This role will help organize the project through dependencies, major achievements and stakeholder check-ins. This individual is a confident, assertive leader who is solutions-oriented. Responsibilities
  • Be the lead on a cross-functional core team to assess project requirements including key dates/achievements, tasks and resources.
  • Work closely and build relationships with Brand partner leads, internal subject area leads and external agencies, to assess project requirements including key dates/achievements.
  • Review creative work against the briefs, feedback and work order lists, to validate it meets requirements.
  • Lead weekly and daily status meetings and stand-ups, as the owner of LA details and manage brand team deliverables against schedule.
  • Develop post-presentation/meeting contact reports.
  • Ensure meetings are outcome driven with clear decisions and documented next steps.
  • Actively manage the day-to-day project progress and communicate team updates as necessary to ensure the holistic knowledge of project status.
  • Schedule project development tasks and updates; anticipate changes and pivot plans accordingly to propel project forward.
  • Risk management; proactively flagging risks/issues to scope, budget, timing or resourcing to key players and find solutions to bring project back on track.
  • Develop key communication, and coordinate the distribution and central organization of key files.
  • Handle assets and version control.
  • Production oversight; collaborate with creative leads and producers, internal and external throughout all stages, communicating deliverables.
  • Take the lead on collaborating with stakeholders on post program learnings and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in an agency environment with client-management and project management experience.
  • Experience with in-store marketing and working on programs across enterprise is an asset.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Proficient with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Understands best practices agency processes and campaign workflow.
  • Able to work in an agile environment, adapting to change and comfortable working with the unknowns, prioritizing and pivoting where needed to propel project forward.
  • Shown experience in handling cross-functional teams effectively, remaining focused, calm and efficient under pressure.
  • Highly organized, with experience and understanding of the creative process of multi-channel production from concept to execution.
  • Ability to exercise leadership, motivate and collaborate with all team members, building trust and camaraderie.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, can address issues with immediate and creative solutions while keeping the big picture intact.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Knowledge and curiosity of the growing technology landscape.
  • Effective multi-tasker with strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
