Responsibilities include:

1. Take ownership of the product vision and actively improve the product and platform.
2. Design and implement business solutions in agile squads.
3. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
4. Contribute to test automation and continuous integration.
5. Collaborate with IT, QA, and Production Management teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.
6. Learn semantic technologies and other relevant skills for the role.
7. Abide by Tech & Data Policies and Procedures and SDLC/PLC requirements.
8. Depending on experience: Engage with business stakeholders to elicit and scope requirements, conceptualize strategic solutions, and participate in system architecture.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in delivering and supporting large-scale enterprise solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Desired Skills:

• Java tools and frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Hibernate, RESTful microservices).
• Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).
• Continuous integration tools (Maven, Gradle, Artifactory).
• Relational databases and SQL querying.
• Application and database design skills.
• Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with triple stores (Marklogic, Stardog) and SPARQL.

Project details: Contract, hourly, located in Montreal, CA, for 12 months with likely renewal.
