Title: Senior Software Developer – VOIP/911 Systems

Experience Required: 8–15 years

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Software Developer (Java) with expertise in VOIP/SIP protocols and experience developing 911 call handling solutions. You will work on life-critical applications for emergency call routing and GIS-based location services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain software for 911 systems.
2. Implement VOIP and SIP call flow solutions.
3. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams.
4. Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices.
5. Write unit and integration tests; collaborate with QA.
6. Diagnose and resolve bugs or performance issues.
7. Maintain technical documentation.
8. Participate in Agile practices like daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
9. Manage code using Git.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience with VOIP or SIP protocols and call flow.
• Experience with 911 systems or emergency communication software.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Boot, .NET, React, or Angular.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, or NoSQL databases.
