In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping the vision and execution of customer and employee experience solutions that meet the needs of Bond’s clients. This position requires a strong understanding of design thinking, instructional design principles, and the ability to lead design components of high-profile projects.

You will have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional team of Experience Designers, Strategists, and industry professionals to create high-impact solutions for international clients in sectors such as automotive, financial services, healthcare, pharmaceutical, technology, retail, and hospitality.

Preference to candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada) or surrounding area.

As Sr. Instructional Experience Designer, you will :

• Support strategy and vision for multi-phase or interconnecting deliverables, ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic goals.
• Interpret strategist vision and client requirements to develop a comprehensive understanding of the big picture for deliverables.
• Collaborate with strategists, clients, and practice leads on deliverables, such as reports of findings, ensuring the quality and impact of outcomes.
• Lead the design and development of complex learning deliverables, ensuring they meet client objectives and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough user research and usability testing, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
• Balance multiple project timelines and support facilitating stakeholder communications to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
• Maintain a strong client focus, building and nurturing relationships to understand their needs and deliver exceptional solutions.
• Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring deliverables meet company standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including strategists, developers, and project managers, to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
• Design documents and content outlines for various delivery formats (e.g., eLearning, blended learning, microlearning) to drive knowledge retention and behavior change.
• Apply instructional design methodologies to create engaging, learner-centered training experiences, ensuring content aligns with adult learning principles and organizational goals.

Your background :

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, with a proven track record of leading experience design components of complex projects and delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in design thinking methodologies, with the ability to empathize with users and ideate innovative solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to address design challenges.
• Ability to interpret strategic visions and translate them into actionable deliverables.
• Experience with the following platforms and tools : AI tools; visual collaboration platforms (e.g., Miro, Beekast); creative tools (e.g., Canva, Powtoons, Premiere, Illustrator); eLearning development and engagement platforms (e.g., Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting and leading colleagues to achieve project goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong proficiency in foundational computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
