Position: Sr. Information Analyst, CIM

- Information Services 18: Salaries typically range from $94,664 to $126,219 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.
Location:
- Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, currently requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week. (subject to change)
- This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa or from one of our Community Hubs located in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, or Vancouver.

Team Overview:
The Company Information Management team (CIM) is responsible for the centralized management and maintenance of company data within EDC’s Customer Relationship Management system. Their responsibilities include creating new company records for any entity that has a direct or indirect relationship with EDC and confirming companies and individuals as per the FC Program definitions. They continuously monitor and refresh company record data fields. Additionally, the team creates and maintains standards for defining, sourcing, and presenting company data elements in the company database. They also identify and monitor trusted sources for company research and understand how company information is used and shared between systems at EDC, helping to resolve integration issues. CIM is evolving to become the centralized company onboarding Center of Excellence (COE) as part of the Entity Lifecycle Management (ELM) program. This newly transformed team will be responsible for entity onboarding governance at EDC. This role will be reporting directly to the Director.
What you will be doing:
- Has a cross functional Continuous Improvement mindset. Leverages other’s strengths and expertise to achieve common goals.
- Subject Matter Expert lead for company information management projects.
- Identifies and implements necessary process changes and data governance to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Be a change agent who assists and enables the team CIM in adopting changes.
- Participates in or leads the development of company information policies, measures and standards.
- Participates in or leads the development and maintenance of company information processes, procedures and job instructions.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets large and complex data sets using Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across different data sources.
- Works with various teams to identify areas of improvement and opportunities to streamline company information processes.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Information Technology, Information Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or data governance, or related fields, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
- Program/project management and business process improvement experience.
- EDC system technical knowledge. Previous experience working on initiative projects.
- Knowledge of Company onboarding process and FCKYC.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Bilingual in both official languages (French and English).
