We’re hiring a Senior Human Resources Generalist (Sr. HRG) to join our Client's Saskatoon team. In this critical role, you’ll partner closely with the local General Manager to shape a collaborative, high-performing workplace aligned with company values and business objectives.
You’ll be responsible for leading core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, leadership coaching, succession planning, and change management—while helping to drive cultural transformation and compliance excellence across the operation.
Lead HR programs related to talent development, staffing, retention, succession planning, diversity, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
Align HR priorities with business strategy to support operational success.
Build and sustain strong talent pipelines for hourly, technical, and leadership roles.
Champion a collaborative workplace culture through impactful change management and engagement strategies.
Coach and support leaders on communication, leadership development, and annual HR processes.
Manage employee relations, conduct workplace investigations, and guide policy interpretation.
Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local labor laws, as well as all company and environmental, health & safety policies.
Deliver training and employee education sessions on key HR topics including onboarding, benefits, and workplace conduct.
Oversee plant-related Workers’ Compensation claims in collaboration with EH&S and department managers.
Act as a liaison with local organizations to enhance community engagement and corporate reputation.
Perform other duties aligned with company objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
4+ years of progressive HR experience; manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
Solid understanding of HR practices such as recruitment, compensation, leadership development, and employee relations.
Proven ability to influence, coach, and support leaders across functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to internal systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
This position operates in an industrial and mining environment where adherence to safety protocols and PPE use is required.
