Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Go Developer. This position involves maintaining existing products, addressing technical debt, and driving end-to-end initiatives within a dynamic team environment. The role offers the opportunity to work on multiple parallel projects in a fast-paced setting, applying your expertise to enhance system security and code quality.

Pay rate range (CAD): $75.00/hr – $80.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of development projects from conception to deployment.
• Drive initiatives and end-to-end project delivery independently.
• Mentor team members and participate in code reviews.
• Remediate technical debt and legacy code vulnerabilities.
• Detect and resolve security issues related to SAST/DAST vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Explain technical problems, root causes, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision and micromanagement.

Desired Skill-Set

• 2–3+ years of professional Go development experience.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency and multi-threaded programming.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube.
• Experience with security scanning tools like Snyk.
• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot.
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
