Our client is seeking a SR FunctionalProject Manager with mortgage experience to implement new distribution models for Banking products

Location : Alberta (Edmonton preferred; nearby locations considered)

Onsite 2-3 days a week

Overview :

Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to guide the organization through the development and implementation of new distribution models for Banking products. The successful candidate will work closely with the client’s executive team, focusing on solidifying strategic decisions and building stronger connections with partners. This position is based in Alberta, with a preference for candidates located in or near Edmonton.

Must-Haves :

• 8+ years of project management with experience implementing banking products
• Strong ability to manage executive stakeholders , particularly guiding decision-making processes and navigating strategic initiatives.
• Capable of “managing up” to senior leadership and “managing down” to ensure all project stakeholders are aligned.
• Experience with mortgage or working with mortgage brokers.
• Based in Alberta (preferably Edmonton or surrounding areas).

Nice-to-Haves :

• Experience in banking, lending, or credit product distribution.
• Familiarity with the Alberta market and regulatory environment in the financial industry.
• Background in working with executive leadership on strategic initiatives within financial services.
• PMP certification or other relevant project management credentials.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with executives to define and narrow down distribution models for banking products, particularly focusing on mortgages or relationships with mortgage brokers.
• Provide high-level project oversight and facilitate discussions that lead to concrete decisions and strategic planning.
• Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and progress across multiple groups
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, timelines, and key deliverables that support the vision of deeper integration
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership, offering regular updates on project milestones and addressing any roadblocks or challenges.
• Coordinate with various business units to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of efforts across the organization.
