About The Role

The NG-SIEM product team seeks an experienced Senior UI Engineer skilled in technical collaboration and passionate about advancing CrowdStrike's NG-SIEM vision. You will contribute your UI expertise to develop CrowdStrike’s investigation, detection, and prevention technologies in the XDR, endpoint, SIEM, and SOAR markets. Your skills will help introduce new features and enhancements. The ideal candidate can influence cross-functional teams across the company.

Our JavaScript framework is Ember, but experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js is also valuable. We support a collaborative, inclusive, and diverse environment that values learning, mentorship, and contribution. We operate in a remote-first, high-trust setting where you manage your own time and work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

1. Build and maintain single-page web applications in JavaScript using Ember.js
2. Participate in code reviews
3. Develop tools to improve the development experience
4. Write automated tests
5. Collaborate with UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Designers, Writers, Researchers, QA Analysts, and Product Managers
6. Stay informed about cybersecurity industry challenges
7. Solve hard problems with enthusiasm

What You’ll Need

1. Desire to collaborate with users, designers, and testers to deliver quality software
2. Deep understanding of JavaScript and experience with frameworks such as Ember, AngularJS, Backbone, or React/Flux
3. Experience with testing frameworks like QUnit, Mocha, and Playwright
4. Interest in developing accessible interfaces
5. Strong HTML & CSS skills, with experience in animation, scalable/modular CSS, SCSS, or LESS
6. Familiarity with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, Ember CLI
7. Comfort with Git and version control workflows

The salary range in Canada is $150,000 - $225,000 CAD annually plus incentives, equity, and benefits. Salary depends on experience, skills, and location. All employees must have legal work authorization in Canada. Background checks are required for candidates moving forward.
