This role plays a critical part in financial planning and analysis, month-end close activities, and supporting audits. It will also support the Senior Manager of Finance and BU VP on various ad hoc projects and requests from Corporate Management and will also handle other statutory and regulatory reporting tasks.

Job Duties
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results; explain variances against budget and forecast.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing) to provide data-driven insights.
  • Prepare financial presentations, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership and board meetings.
  • Support business case development, scenario modeling, and investment analysis.
  • Identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes, tools, and reporting.
  • Accounting & Close Support:
    • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
    • Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, reclasses, and other necessary adjustments.
    • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis.
    • Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
    • Maintain proper documentation for entries and reconciliations in line with audit standards.
  • Audit & Compliance Support:
    • Assist with internal and external audit requests, providing documentation and analysis as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
    • Support J-SOX documentation and process reviews.
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related business/accounting/finance experience is required.
  • Business Partnering and FP&A experience desired.
  • Experience working in Lease accounting is highly desired
  • Medical Device industry experience a plus.


Preferred:

  • MS Office (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word).
  • SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, Power BI.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a team player have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly and adjust work schedule based on workload.
  • Flexibility and adaptability essential must possess exceptional organizational skill.
  • Must be able to work independently multitask and prioritize workload in order to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
