Currently, we have multiple Senior Financial Analyst - Controller openings, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and general accounting responsibilities. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and senior management to provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. We seek a talented, outgoing individual eager to innovate, grow, and build relationships.

What You'll Do
  • Support financial operations through month-end journal entries, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Provide commentary on financial results and key indicators, driving continuous improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning and stay informed on industry trends and accounting policies.
  • Develop weekly scorecard reports for management and prepare monthly performance reports.
  • Analyze revenue trends, prepare variance analyses, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure all journal entries are accurately prepared, supported, and posted timely.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and explain transactions to management.
  • Assist in business case development, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making.
What You'll Have
  • CPA designation or working towards it is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of progressive financial or accounting experience.
  • Strong technical skills, with knowledge of IFRS 15 and standards.
  • Advanced skills in Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort working with senior leadership and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial Systems, Hyperion, Essbase, or Smartview is an asset.
