Job summary

Source Code is seeking a Sr. Enterprise Architect to support cloud-based service architecture and AVD expertise. The role requires collaboration with multiple technical teams and the Service Manager to optimize operations and cost efficiency.

The assignment is a 6-month contract with some in-office attendance in Edmonton. The candidate should have strong experience in cloud platforms, architecture definition, requirements gathering, and cross-domain expertise to ensure scalable IT solutions for

Qualifications

• Experience developing on cloud platforms and utilizing cloud services in development (3+ years).
• Experience in defining technical architecture and building technical environments (5+ years).
• Experience gathering requirements from diverse stakeholders (5+ years).
• Experience across multiple architecture domains (business, application, technology) (3+ years).
• Experience with process improvement, documentation and requirements gathering (5 years).
• Experience triaging technical issues and troubleshooting (3+ years).
• Written and verbal communications experience including collaboration with stakeholders (5+ years).

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Service Manager/Service Owner for day-to-day operations and peak efficiency.
• Ensure service architecture minimizes costs and optimizes user and management experience.
• Demonstrate understanding of Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD) environment.

Remotely; however, the resource may be required to attend meetings or work sessions in office on reasonable notice from the Province.

Contract 6 months

The Remote Access Technical Architect provides support to the Service Manager and Service Owner to assist with day to day operational duties ensuring the services are operating at peak efficiency, and that the Service architecture is configured to minimize costs, and optimize the user and management experience. The Architect must understand the technical capabilities of the Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD) environment and be able to work in a collaborative manner with both the Service Provider and other technical teams in the GoA.

Must-Have:
