About the Job :

This is a growing role where you'll work with experienced professionals. As a SR&ED Technical Consultant , you'll be involved in research, planning, execution, and supporting sales and marketing activities related to R&D tax credits in Canada. You'll manage projects from start to finish, working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities : Client Management

Manage client engagements, ensure timely services, and meet deadlines.

Manage client expectations and multiple projects efficiently.

SR&ED Consulting

Compile technical descriptions for tax credit claims and determine qualifying expenditures.

Stay updated on SR&ED programs and legislation.

Represent clients during SR&ED reviews.

Innovation Grants Consulting

Assist with grant applications and compile analysis reports.

Stay informed on available grants for innovation.

Growth Opportunities :

Participate in cross-functional projects and program development.

Contribute to process improvements and automation.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Engineering, Science, or Computer Science.

Interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing.

At least 2 years of tax experience, including 1 year in R&D tax credits.

Experience in preparing R&D or payroll claims.

Ability to interview clients and understand tax liabilities.

Knowledge of research credit regulations and databases.

Understanding of R&D tax issues and regulations.
