Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an SR&ED Manager to assist clients in identifying SR&ED tax credits and to support defense of claims during CRA reviews. The role involves onsite work with engineers, documentation of expenses, and detailed modeling.

You will build technical narratives, coordinate project plans, and supervise team members to ensure timely CRA filing while maintaining accurate records and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Petroleum-Oil & Gas, or related) or Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or related).
• Minimum four years of SR&ED tax credit experience required.
• Excellent organization and time management skills; strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interviews clients to identify SR&ED eligible projects and collect information for T661 filings.
• Advise and support clients before and during CRA technical reviews of SR&ED claims.
• Prepare technical narratives and identify employees, subcontractors, and materials used in eligible activities.
• Gathers client supporting documents, records interviews, and participates in sales and business development activities as needed.
