Job summary

Ryan is seeking a Senior Consultant to help clients identify and claim SR&ED tax credits and assist the SR&ED Director in defending those credits during CRA reviews. The role involves onsite work at client facilities, collaborating with engineers and technical staff, and conducting detailed research, documentation, and modeling.

Responsibilities include interviewing clients, preparing claims, and supporting sales activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Petroleum, or related disciplines) or Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or all Disciplines).
• Minimum two years of SR&ED tax credit experience.
• Excellent organization and time management skills; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to uncover SR&ED eligible projects and information for T661 filing.
• Prepare technical narratives for SR&ED tax credit claims and identify personnel and materials involved.
• Ensure claims are prepared and filed with CRA within 45 days of the initial meeting.
• Advise clients during CRA technical reviews and respond to CRA correspondence.
